Windows Home Server

Some information found in the evaluation kit:

As for the system requirements:

  • Computer with 1GHz Pentium III (or equivalent) or faster
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 70 GB or lager disk space
  • DVD Drive
  • Monitor, Mouse, Keyboards
  • 100 Mbps of faster Ethernet network interface card

To run Windows Home Server, your home network must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • An Internet boardband router/firewall device with a 100 Mbps or faster wired Ethernet connection for your home server.
  • Windows Home Server assumes that your home computer get their IP address from the router/firewall device on your home network.
